Setting up Dispatch & the driver app

Plan routes, assign work to drivers, and track delivery and service jobs in the field.

Dispatch is the app for getting physical work out the door — deliveries and on-site service. From the dispatch console you create jobs, assign them to drivers or technicians, and organize them into efficient routes. Because Dispatch shares the platform's account data, a job is already linked to the right customer and location.

Your field team uses the companion driver app on their phone. They see their assigned stops for the day, get turn-by-turn guidance, and update each job as they go — marking arrivals, capturing proof of delivery or service completion, and noting anything that needs attention. Those updates flow straight back to the console in real time.

Vavan can optimize routes and estimate arrival times, and it watches active routes for disruptions so dispatchers can react before a customer has to call. To get started, make sure your drivers are invited to your workspace and have the driver app installed, then build and assign your first set of jobs from the console.
