Managing access and data privacy

Control who can see what, and how to handle data requests and removals.

Access in Vavan is governed by the roles you assign to teammates, so the simplest way to manage privacy is to give each person the narrowest role that lets them do their job. Administrators can review the team list at any time and adjust roles or remove access immediately when someone changes responsibilities or leaves.

Because access is enforced at the data layer, a role change or removal takes effect everywhere at once — there is no lag where a former teammate retains a back door into an app or an export.

If you need to export your data, fulfill a customer request, or have records removed, an administrator can handle the common cases from your workspace, and our team can help with anything beyond that.
